Thule Roof racks
Has anybody put Thule racks on a low roof Delica? I am wondering if the regular 300 gutter foot will work or does it require the higher foot?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Thule Roof racks
Go to Canadian Tire, ask for the Thule Sport Rack bars for the Montero. Cost you $200.00 for the pair. Ideal for the P25W (low roof), just the right freeboard from the roof. I have a pair, great for ladders, &c.. CT also carries Thule pods for around $500.00.

Thanks! That helps narrow things down
I'm assuming that a 4 foot bar across the top is what is needed.
I'm trying to do this on the cheap/used angle.

If you don't mind paying a bit more, Rack Attack has always been good about helping you test the parts on your vehicle to make sure everything fits perfectly before you drive off.

Re: Thule Roof racks
Five(ish) foot bar. The towers bear inward and the bar ends are pretty much following the extended line from the outer bulkheads (walls) of the wagon. Looks quite gnarly, actually?freestyler wrote:Thanks! That helps narrow things down

Re: Thule Roof racks
I have stock bars along the roof of my Pajero..Does anyone know if Thule racks will clamp onto this stock bar? Or would I need to take them off and install something different?

Re: Thule Roof racks
I put Thule towers on my L300 low roof. I'm not sure what model number the towers are, but they're 5-1/2" from the bottom of the bars to the bottom of the foot, and that clears the roof nicely.
I have a set of four for sale, $40. Non-locking knobs, so load and go.
I posted an ad for them a while back, but now I can't find it. The only guy to come look at them had a high roof, so I've still got them. I thought the ad was clear enough, these are the short towers for a low roof.
