We have just moved from BC to Jasper in Alberta. We own a Mitsubishi Delica L300 1993.
We have to get our van inspected in order to pass the out of province inspection to get the van registered. So far what the garage told us we need for our van is
1. High mounted stop lamps( ie a brake lamp on the top of our rear windshield)
2. Daytime running lamps
We have seen other Delica's in town that don't have any of these articles and wondering why we should be required too. In the case that we have to proceed forward with these requirements, we would greatly appreciate any suggestions of garages or individuals that would be capable of doing these installations.
We also have a crank shaft pulley to change on the van as well. Any good garage for mechanical problems in the area?
Thanks for your time and help! We greatly appreciate it!

Drl's are required everywhere in Canada I believe. You shouldn't need to mount another brake light if you already have you at the bottom of your 'rear windshield' though.

The DRL can be installed by yourself, CDN Tire has them for about 30-35 bucks and can be wired up in about 15-20 minutes, the rear mount light you can go to CDN Tire or Walmart and they sell RED LED strips that you can wire in easily just remember that LED's are polarity sensitive, its not broken if it does not light up just reverse the wires and it will work.
