Blocked post for comment on cost differential on delicas?

I'm worried a post was blocked becouse I remindnd someone that Delicas are purchased at prices that are, for Canada, inexpensive, and resold here for 5 times as much.I have never noticed any discussion about the prices of Delicas in Japan. Does this mean the the site censors this sort of info because your advertisers are dependent this differential? Or is it just my mistake? Also i kind of have the impression there has been a number of what seem to me petty disputes typical of the internet on this site...if i'm right take my posts off, and good luck.

Hi Dunc,

I understand that the average Delica (at least the L300s) go for around $2,000 in Japan and after shipping, duties, taxes and compliance end up costing around $5,500, then sold closer to $10,000. This info is a couple of years old, I would imagine shipping has gone up with the price of diesel and compliance has likely also gone up.

What about this blocked post ~ can you tell me more about it? Sometimes posts get held for approval by the moderators when they are sent from roaming sources, don't know why but it happens on occasion.

Actually shipping costs are at a 10 year low. Not much being shipped these days so tons of competition driving price down.
