well i don't want this to sound like a direct plug for this place but i drove up their yesterday and met with glen and his mate didn't catch his name but really nice guys. he had a look at my delica and solved a lack of power issue for me, turns out to be a broken kick down cable from the throttle to the tranny. i haven't had any work done there but i would highly recommend them based on what i saw. i plan on having my timing belt done and any other major servicing that comes along. he also mentioned that he has some new delicas for sale. glen said he changes the battery, belts and all the fluids before he sells them and that seems to be the thing these things need the most when they come into the country.

Adam,
I got mine done at Abbotsford Japan Auto, and I can't say enough good things about them. They are super sweet, honest, and fair priced. Everything is straight from Japan. Off the top of my head I think it was around $950 to change out every belt and the water pump (which is wise to do at the same time). I found that it seemed a good price. He did it in a day and a bit. Ask Glen what it costs to do the water pump as well... he seems like a real reasonably priced trustworthy guy too. And the warranty... thats always a selling point.

Re;belts
The prices quoted are for timing and balance belt . I also stock water pumps , thermostats and tensioner kits . I also have cam seals in stock but waiting for crank seals (back ordered) . I would also recommend re-setting valve clearances and replacing valve cover gasket whilst doing the belts . Call me at the shop with any questions on (250)954-2157 . Tensioner set -$146.83 (timing and balance) Water pump - $154.00 Cam seal - $8.27 .
