First time I read it I thought it said "MacGyver Wedding". Hello!

So this is what happens when one does not follow Delica forums.
BUT, I have to be honest and say I did in fact see this great beast sometime ago at a parking lot of one of our finest RHD mechanics.
David, i'm not sure how you managed this one. I'm still working on trying to convince my wife on an L4.
But yet I can still win the arguement on a DH bike. Go figure!
Either way, congrats on your new ride.
Looking forward to your mods.
That is if I do in fact keep up with Delica.ca.

If Kevin (BCDelica) can keep up while in Thailand I don't see why I couldn't, too many great people on this forum! Also, even once I sell my Delica, I still have another one that wify drives. And even once I sell that one it will only to be replace with a Pajero so I'll still have a legitimate excuse to show up!
Thanks for caring!

But you'll still need a step-stool to get into your ride...
Okay, cheap shot, admittedly. That being said, the 24vdc-12vdc transformer and a fuse box is a good idea, especially if you're going to be adding a bunch of gear. Good isolation, too. Are you camperizing the RPM?

Nah, as long as I park by a curb/side-walk then I'm fine! Actually, this truck kinda does have a squatting Sumo stand like Falco suggested. It's a lot easier to get in and out than even my lowered Delica. It will change over time but not by much, I'd be happy to keep that low center of gravity.
Yup, the RPM (good name!) will get camperized. Spent part of the afternoon today looking at in-cab battery options... I'd like to free some real estate space under the hood for wvo kit and other gadgets. There's a nice spot behind the rear seats that could fit 2 or 3 batteries nicely.
Ciao!

I like the headroom feature.
Engine must be nice to work with.

Actually, if it's like the Pajero, there is more room but one has to reach over the side of the vehicle while standing on the ground to get at things. It's actually more difficult to get at some things than in a cab-over design (at least that's what I'm finding).
And delicat: ya, 'RPM' (Ruggedised Pope Mobile) is way cooler than the 'Black Matador'. At least I think so.

RPM is fine with me, black Matador no, Urban Matador maybe...

I can lend you the little stool I carry with me everywhere I go...
You know, I was surprised of the real estate available in the engine bay. For such a large area there's not a much room as I had expected. It's pretty cramped with 2 batteries and tons of other accessories (extra lines for heated fuel filter, extra lines and solenoid for rear locker)... Everything is overbuilt and probably takes more room.
That's why I'd be tempted to move the batteries in cab, it would create a lot of room at the front and balance the weight a bit.

Delicat + TD42=Safarion?
The Delica owners in cold Canada are far for experimental and community oriented than the Safari owners. I have always liked the Delica and still want one. David is an interesting fellow and I hope to have a beer with him and some of yous in beautiful BC. FIND ME A JOB THERE!
Cheers,
Paul

Just got thinking about RPM, does it still work if the truck isn't white?
Here's a link to a few of my first mods. First one is to convert 24v to 12v and the second one is moving the 2 batteries inside the cab instead of the engine bay...
