G'DAY!

Post by BlueDream »

Hey all,

I'm bloody thrilled to see that the Delica made it to Canadia, My girlfriend of 3 years is Canadian (she hates me calling it Canadia) I recently came back to Aus from a trip from Vancouver to Montreal, to visit her family. took about 2 months.

I'll definately be heading back to Canada to spend some more quality time there, I miss her family to, they were all so awesome. BUT I couldn't live up-over without my delica!

I never saw any Delica's over there, but just know it'll be the first on my list of vehicles to get when we move over to Hamilton, Onterrible.

I guess the L400 hasn't graced your shores yet because of some 15 year rule?

I love the look on people's face when you drive past, or get out of the van, it's as if they are waiting for Mr.T and the A-team to jump out, heh!

Anyways all, I look forward to getting back there real soon and will be browsing these forums to help me get another Delica when we do get back up there..

Oh yeah, my girl LOVES our Delica too.... I just wish we had some snow here in Western Australia, to take my Delica out into over here. We got some hail not so long ago, everyone was out in there shorts and t-shirts throwing hail-balls at each other, haha! But hail-balls hurrrt..

I'd post some pics of my beast but its an L400 and ya'll got L300's (I think) so it's beauty might be lost...

But I did have an L300, it was an absolute piece of CRAP - not the vehicle, but because it was trashed! I paid $500 for it and ever since then I had been dreaming about buying a good Delica.

Good L300's are pretty hard to get now in Aus, as everyone wants the L400 so thats what everyone is importing, and anyone with a good L300 is not about to sell it. They've already tricked it out and set it up to how they like it...

I think the L300 looks a bit tougher than the L400, but I'm doing my best to strengthen mine.. Getting the air-lockers put into the front and rear diff in a couple weeks, that should help!

Anyways all, have fun... Will be watching your forum with keen interest! :)
