seems to be all a matter of what the orriginal owner wanted, you can have an ice-box on an exceed, or not have one on a super, just depends what was ordered... that said, the super exceed is generally going to have more "toys" than an exceed... but it's all in what the orriginal owner wanted (a base super will have less stuff than a fully loaded exceed)

Disclaimer: I know very little about the cool box
one more completely off-topic note... be carefull storing beer in the cool-box, as these are located beside the driver the police may see this as being alcohol within reach of the driver, and may not be pleased... (just an fyi... for the most part as long as you aren't doing something stupid such as drinking and driving they aren't likely to look in the cool box.)
isn't the cool box tied in to the air conditioning? is that working properly? if the AC isn't working then it may simply need a recharge. if I'm completely off base and the cool box is electric or something else... then I don't know what to suggest....Our Cool Box doesnt work well. My Beer is simply not as cold as I'd like,

cool box
Yes in fact the cool box is connected to the AC and the AC has to be running for it to work. BTW mine came with a tiny ice cube tray accessible through a sliding panel to the left of the cool box. The heater/AC must be running before the fan in the cool box will operate as well. Conversly if you want to keep the burgers warm the heather must be running.
On another note I saw an L300 Deli (white with a roof rack) driving down my street yesterday in SW Calgary. I've not seen this one before and it didn't stop long enough for me to run out and say "Hi". There's only one other L300 I've seen in Calgary, a ligh blue two-tone. Looking forward to meeting the owners when I can catch them.

I've now seen 2 delicas in Calgary, the 2-tone blue one works up in the NE and lives in theSW, (I frequently see him doing the transit on 14th st) and thursday I caught a quick glimpse of a white one at 32nd ave and deerfoot, I think he had a snorkel too... first time I've seen the white one though, I heard a Calgary importer say there are 5 Delicas in Calgary now, but I've only seen the 2 so far...
I am in the process of importing a white delica as well... the ship arrived in Vancouver last night and should be unloading today... then there's customs, inspection, etc... with some luck I'll have the vehicle driving around Calgary about the first week of November...

Alright Green1, the wait's almost over! Didn't you order that in August, at least it's here before X-mas.
I hope your Delica Boat's not effected by the strike in New West, I just talked to Courtenay agencies. Seems two ship's are unloading in Oakland California instead of New West!!! There is roro's on those boats and no one knows how it's going to be bringing them up here. I think more time and money will be the only answer for those expectant JDM buyers.
I'm sure if your is in a container you'll be fine.

mine was shipped container, however the shipping got messed up... twice... first the container wasn't on the ship they thought it was, then they opened the container on the next ship and found the wrong vehicle inside... it's been interesting... the latest ship unloaded yesterday at centerm in vancouver and with some luck things went right this time... yes I ordered in august... but I've somehow managed to be "patient" so far... wow is waiting difficult!

yours is certainly the most obvious one... and my "spies" have seen you many times as well... ;) (my friends keep calling me every time they see a Delica...) there's a white one with orange trim that I caught a really quick glimpse of once on 32nd ave, and a friend of mine saw once as well... but other than that, all I can go on is rumour that there are 5...
They are however certainly distinctive vans... I have seen at least 3 town-aces as well... and yesterday I saw something else that I'm not even sure what it was... right hand drive cab-over mini-van of some form, but neither delica nor town-ace... much smaller than either... who knows... (of course I also see lots of land-cruisers... but they're not all that interesting...)
I should however probably thank you... yours is the van that "inspired" me... (or is that I should curse you... we shall see... ;) )

The little vans are the Kei vans - most of the Japanese manufactures made small vans with 600 cc engines - they also have little trucks to. Most are 4wd but they are tough for a 6'3" guy to fit into.
Check http://www.japanoid.com for more on Kei cars.
We have really been ripped off on North America regarding the vehicles we have had to choose from - I hope they don't shut down our imports.

I've seen a couple of those Kei vans too around town. I got a beep and a wave from a burgundy Subaru Sambar last summer, and I got to drive a Sambar at my importers. Little 660cc supercharged engine, lots of fun to drive. He has a Suzuki Carry truck too, as his parts truck.
I agree James, we've been ripped off. N/A automakers are talking green out of one side of their mouth while they churn out behemoths with bigger engines, while the Japanese have had the economical transportation thing figured out for decades.
