Re-Alignment of bootlid

Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

Re-Alignment of bootlid

Post by Ruffgeezer »

Hullo all,

I've just scooped a cheap L400 but she's wearing a battlescar on the left hand rear corner, where the damage has been done, it has just caught the bottom of the tailgate, and now it doesn't shut square to the striker pin, has anyone had to realign theirs or is it a case of binning the hinges and putting fresh ones on?

Thanks

Tim

I have loosened the screws abit and tapped a smidge over and retightened with good results.
With my van if I'm on the least bit of side slope I do have to close carefully for it to latch properly.

Yeah this is a good 1/4" off position and I notice the tailgate is sat up against the light on the right hand side.
