Re: Right course of action to replace body on l400?
The Gen 1 and 2 L400's are UNIBODY. Its the L300 that is a full frame design. The front sub-frame of the L400 can be replaced and the unibody frame rails can be fishplated (laminated) by a reputable frame shop. They do this all the time to old classic Dodge muscle cars that were sub-framed with a u...

infiniteConstructor: Not sure what you mean by a body to swap over, but if your frame it what is rusted but the body is good then I have a 97 that has been rolled. The body is not good, but everything ells is good. John Thats great news! The body is great on mine. Though I thought that these were o...

Parts vehicle to get body to fit on 1994 L400 Exceed
Any body that would fit with next to no rust would be considered. I'd prefer to drive it away, but will talk options depending on price.
Thanks

Right course of action to replace body on l400?
Howdy, So it looks like I purchased an L400 with the Cancer (rust) throughout the frame. I saw "a little" and should have thought more of it. But didn't. The previous owner was not fothcoming with details, insisted he wasn't the first owner and didn't provide paperwork; though his notes fr...

Is realignment of gauge pins in dash panel possible?
Good Day, When removing a branded faceplate from my gauge displays, I chose to remove the pins from the Fuel and Heater gauge housings by pulling straight out. Given the force I needed perhaps I should have chosen against this option. But I did it anyway. And then put them back in, trying to use the...

Re: Dash color change!
I was wondering if this experience can help with a small problem of my own. In your image IMG_3141_DxO.jpg, the screen lights (that remain blue) are not on. And in IMG_3142_DxO.jpg they are on again. Is there a switch or fuse that need be replaced to make that screen work? I had some smoke come off ...

Climate Control Screen Burned out - Possible to repair?
Good Day, I witnessed some hissing and spitting of smoke coming from the top right corner of the screen in my climate control module. After which there is no longer any indicators working on the screen (Does this mean its a ground issue?). I pulled out all boards and searched for any points that mig...

Strength of L400 Gutter System
Good Day, I wish to make sure I am understanding what I am looking at when analyzing my gutters. I was given some Thule legs of adequate length to clear my Crystal Lite roof. They look like http://www.roadracks.com/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=211 as well as http://www.roofracks.co.uk/Thule-Product...

New owner.
I'm still discovering the beauties of the vehicle (A '94 Spacegear L400).
I've got a few questions I'll definitely be looking to answer and hope I'll be able to help some others out in the future, too.
Cheers,
/A
