Thanks! It's a '94 L400 chassis but with a Japanese camper installed. Original service when it came to Canada was done by Crown Tech Auto, in N Van. I was hoping I could keep it local but if not then will likely go back there. Will check out the local place you mention though.

Furnace is propane and works properly, so I don't think so. It was very fine soot, like diesel exhaust. It might also have come from a warehouse fire where the Deli was stored. Not sure, but it came off most surfaces fairly easily.
