One point of humor......
My wife's father worked on big diesel engines most of his career..... his first tool for every problem was a small sledge hammer....
Personally I like to figure it out and fix........ I stand corrected again......
The inlaw had a big laugh over this one...

Re: Air/Heating/defog fan not working
Found the fan......
Thanks Mark,
I gave it a kick and it started up again.... I guess the fan upgrade can wait until summer.
I really would like to get a labeled diagram of what is under the dash. My Deli service manual barely mentions anything about the A\C and heating system.

Re: Air/Heating/defog fan not working
I'll take another look in the morning and give it a kick:) From what I have figured out... far left is the fresh air/recycle air intake, then behind the line fuses is the A/C, and behind the vent control is heating. Since I have the cool box I can't get a good look in the middle. I'm hoping I have m...

Front Blower
Does anyone have any idea where the front blower is located?
Do I have to remove the entire dash to get at it?
Thanks

Air/Heating/defog fan not working
With the BC winter fast approaching I cranked up the Deli this morning only to find that I have no fan to defog my window. It was working yesterday! I have checked the fuses under the drivers side and behind the glove box. I did discover one that was blown.... now my AC condenser fan is working but ...

Re: retrofit shoulder belts - what about the panels?
Update, I finally got around to doing something with the middle seats. I took a piece of 1/8" x 1" steel drilled three holes in it. I bolted the steel to the floor using the rear holes for the captain seat tracks. The middle hole on the bar has a seat anchor bolted to it (after market) and...

Re: retrofit shoulder belts - what about the panels?
I found a listing for the Britax seat at Baby's R Us. It's pricey at $299.99, but it has an A++ crash rating. I will have to change the captain chair lap belts to the locking type. These seats will only require an achour point in the floor and will give the kids a guaranteed solution up to 80lbs. I ...

Re: retrofit shoulder belts - what about the panels?
I suspect that if these were mounted behind the existing mounting holes and welded it would be very difficult to pull the 1x2.5" plate through the posts in a crash. I have finally found kid seats good to 80lbs with the build in 5 point harness. They work with lap belts and anchor into the floor...

Re: retrofit shoulder belts - what about the panels?
Just wondering if anyone has considered these.... http://www.wescoperformance.com/3-point-seat-belts-shoulder-mt-door.html I have pulled the panels off and my 91 Deli has the necessary anchor points. I agree with ccauto that they look thin. These mounting plates might work. The only other option wou...

Re: Bad crash Hammond Bay rd. Nanaimo
good to hear he's alright, looked messy. :( His trailer was loaded poorly causing the back end to lift off of the ground. The resulting fish-tail sent him into the ditch at around 50 km/h. Has anyone else rolled their Deli? I am a little concerned with the damage that was sustained over the back se...

Re: Bad crash Hammond Bay rd. Nanaimo
green deli, looked like the deli was cut off by someone and went off the edge. I hope whoever it was is alright. I was just talking to the owner. Everyone is fine, but they were lucky that their kids were not in the very back. Apparently the rear caved in on the back seat. He is bringing in picture...

Re: How cool is your Cool Box?
The rubber seal is easier to compress than foam weather stripping.
Anyone know of a place that can custom make rubber seals?

Make sure you get the thin stuff. My cold box wouldn't close with anything over 2mm.

Re: Middle Seatbelts
I'm wondering if the back blinds can be reached by pulling out the rear lighting, and the trim above the windows, removing the rear speakers and then pulling the rear top trim panel down a few inches.
Has anyone tried this approach?
