Thanks

fuel stop solenoid part number needed - 4m40
I am looking for the part number I need to order for the fuel stop solenoid on the 4M40 engine with mechanical pump. This is the black capped vertical diesel cutoff or fuel stop solenoid. I have the part number for the green capped horizontal restriction valve (Bosch 9461615275 or Zexel 146650-5820)...

Re: Importing US Army trailer <15yrs, possible?
I cannot say if this will ultimately apply to you being that the trailer is over 15 years old. There may be other methods that could be applied - read on. It is possible, but a nightmare - even on a newer trailer that did not have the north american compliance certs. A customer of mine related his s...

Re: Need oil pan for Pajero 4M40
At this point I am sending emails to some UK wreckers to get one shipped in. Least expensive and quickest option to get a replacement

Based on the condition, it is not a good candidate for welding.

My original is hooped. Big hole in it from the connecting rod. I need a replacement.

Re: Need oil pan for Pajero 4M40
Hi jason,
I'm in Calgary. I called Rising sun and they do not have one. Have a call in to CCAuto to see. Just waiting to hear back. If you have another suggestion I would love to hear.
Thanks,
Gerry

Need oil pan for Pajero 4M40
Hi Guys, Just swapping in a L400 4M40 block into my Pajero. Swapping over the accessories I ran into a couple of problems. One I will solve by drilling a hole in the block (for the dipstick). The second is the oil pan. They are different. Mine is hooped. Does someone have an oil pan kicking around f...

Re: Want to tow a trailer
My Pajero is a 2.8 so my experience will be different from your but I tow up to 4500 lbs on the weekends in the summer for camping. No issues whatsoever. Had other issues with the vehicle related to useless mechanics but none as a result of towing. No speed demon on the hills, but she runs cool and ...

Re: grinding from rear drivers side
If it is the same design as the Pajero on the rear the e Brake shoes are inside the rotor and likely the culprit. You need to pull the rear rotor to see them (at least that's how I was finally able to see mine. Mine was actually the rear caliper at the back side. When I changed out the damaged rotor...

Re: SNORKEL KITS Group buy interest?
I would also be interested in a complete snorkel kit for a 95 Pajero 4M40 (gen II). Can we get a group buy going again? A good option I have located is http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Complete-Snorkel-Kit-Mitsubishi-Pajero-NH-NK-1990-97-4x4-diesel-petrol-/180938025370?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash...

Fixed!
Problem was solved when the original issue was fixed (we have had this for a while). The oil that was spilling out the valve cover breather from the factory defective valve system had been replaced a few days before. Now the oil was clearing from the intake system and intercooler. We could never eve...

Help - Pajero turbo pressue drops to 0 on throttle
I have a 1995 Pajero 4m40. Turbo was getting worse and worse. More black smoke and i noticed throttle would cause boost pressure to drop. I was starting to climb hills at 40km per hour instead of 100 to 110 and pushing. This was a replacement turbo that a bad mechanic said I needed for another issue...
