Re: Varsity Community Center
While I haven't seen it before, my family is often at VCA. I'm on the board of directors and look after the outdoor rink, and my youngest goes to Varsity Acres elementary. Surprised we haven't bumped into each other yet...

Re: windshield replacement
Booked an appointment with Dynasty to get the install done. They had quoted $125 plus $30 for the new moulding but called back to say it would be a minimum $200 plus $45 for the moulding. So long Dynasty. At the same time I found a mobile windshield installer online. I was initially very hesitant bu...

Re: windshield replacement
RMI has new green tint glass without the de-icer for $360. Throw in $135 for shipping to Calgary and another $130 or so for install and new rubber for a total $625 for a brand new windshield. Compare this to RSI's used offering at $850 for the glass and shipping only. RMI had some shipping challenge...

Re: Air bag support for rear suspension
The only time rear end sag is an issue for us is when we load 2 adults, two teenagers, one dog, four bikes, camping gear, golf clubs and excessive amounts of beer into and on our L400. This only happens a couple times a year and I've always assumed it would be expensive and difficult to DIY air bags...

Re: windshield replacement
Thanks for the great feedback everyone. Just talked to Bruce at Dynasty in Calgary and he does have L300 glass in stock, but not L400. Still he's making some calls to find what he can for me. Would love to deal locally if at all possible. RMI left a vm last night (Sunday!) saying they have a windshi...

windshield replacement
Just got back from two weeks in BC, camping at Ellison Provincial Park and beachcombing Galiano Island. Fantastic vacation but came home with a badly cracked windshield that needs replacing. Talked briefly to Stephen at Rising Sun who wants $650 to pull a used one out of a wreck but thought I'd do s...

Re: headlights turning back on by themselves!!!
Thanks to this thread I was able to trace and resolve the same problem. My DRL relay was mounted under the hood and got wet during a heavy rainfall causing the headlights to stay on. Simple fix really, just disconnected the relay, pried the cover off, let it sit in the sun for an hour to dry, put it...

L400 fuel tank
Noticed a small stain on the pavement under my 96 Super Exceed. The fuel tank has a small leak. I haven't pulled the bash guard off yet to have a closer look but assume the leak is caused by corrosion and plan on replacing the tank with a new one. Any suggestions about where to buy one? Is it worth ...

Re: exhaust leak and replacement
I will have mine for sale if you want. It's only a year old. I'm putting on a straight pipe soon. Let me know if you are interested. A Thanks for the offer. Took the Delica to the muffler shop yesterday and discovered only the tail pipe needed replacement, everything else was in great shape. Cost w...

Nothing fancy, just straight replacement.nxski wrote:A muffler shop can do it all. Are you planning on having the same exhaust or modifying to a larger size or side dump?

exhaust leak and replacement
I have a 96 L400 Exceed with a leaky exhaust, most notably the last 3 feet of tail pipe is seriously rusted. Any advice on repair/replacement? Can a muffler shop custom bend a replacement or should I source a new exhaust entirely? Recommendations on supplier - Rising Sun, CVI, RMI, Amazing?
