The search is over. Fabricland in New Wesr, and likely anywhere, has curtain hardware. Easy fit, clicks in (some bending required for bottom rail)

Ok, i made a quick fix with the corroded wire, and no buzz, and we have indicators...


But why did someone haywire this?

I just put in a 15 fuse in that odd looking thing...



Result BUZZ

And, indicators working.

what to do with old tranny?

My island mentality coupled with import part woes caution me in dumping the old transmission.

I do have to remove it from my frontt lawn now, but what use could it be to anyone...torque converter too?

it was the kickdown cable jammed up...our driveway is right off a hill...so...it's fixed now

I DID IT!!! that's good advice, I underwent the surgery on my lawn with the old transmission, took the valve body off, wrecked things, and got a good enough look to realize I could do it without that trouble. So, off went the pan and A LOT of needling around and resting and breathing to get the old ...

I cut the belt last summer, similar scenario. Ac looks wonky, so I am interested in a good repair service as well. Not something for this backyard mechanic.

ack! I think I have to unbolt the valve body assembly! 17 bolts...and am I going to be in trouble or what? I sure hope parts don't spring around...
