Re: Winshield Repair Help
Why does the windshield need to be heated? Do they not have windshield defrost from hot air? $4,000 is ridiculous for a windshield! You're right, the next L400 that drives up to an adjuster is going to just get written off.

Sure he did...this guy's got his act together man....
In terms of Delica-preparedness, I once saw a picture of one in full riot truck gear...can't find it now.Edged weapons are superior to bullets, but have both, you may need the range.

Ah yes...one of my favourite topics :o So...how many of you have a bag of essentials in your van to survive for, oh, a week maybe? Forget zombies for a minute (just one short minute gtj), think earthquake, tsunami...that kinda thing. All very plausible stuff. Could happen today, tomorrow, or right a...

Re: Citrus Flush for cooler engines...
You definitely want to clean the heat exchangers too (I'm assuming you meant the heater core). That's why you need to access the engine block drain plug. Just letting the coolant out of rad is just going to flush the rad. The other parts within engine and heater core are important too. Afteroil, I ...

I brought this up from the perspective of a guy who keeps his car going for a lot longer than anybody's Delica...my '84 Benz. Its al...

I would do it every two years. Doesn't hurt a good system for sure. You definitely want to clean the heat exchangers too (I'm assuming you meant the heater core). That's why you need to access the engine block drain plug. Just letting the coolant out of rad is just going to flush the rad. The other ...

Citrus Flush for cooler engines...
I was talking to TardisDeli about her van and she showed me her rad, which was filled with the green coolant. Now I don't know about you guys, but being a Merc diesel guy, I'm really AR about coolant. As you guys probably know, a hot diesel engine is not good. So anyway, I usually do mine once every...

Re: Power fluctuation at full throttle...any ideas?
Have any of you guys tried Lubromoly's diesel purge? I do it yearly to my old Benz. Works wonders for cleaning up dirty injectors etc. Basically, hook it up 'neat' so to speak, directly to the IP inlet as well as outlet lines, run the engine really hard (some guys actually take their benzes for a dr...

There is an excellent l300 for sale right now and the cl roof rust gas already been taken care of, could be worth checking out... Hi there...coul...
