Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
Well, haven't posted much lately but have done a few things to the van. The best curtains... Coroplast! I cut pieces for all windows, fit like a glove, let natural light in, and are impossible to see through. Also tore up the carpeting throughout and stripped the paint. Primed and sprayed boxliner i...

Gassed
Well it happened, gassed the van (don't ask, it's a long story). Thanks to the previous posts and the gracious help of my new favourite tow truck driver, it all came out well. Filled tank with 2/3 gas and drove about 25 km till it stopped. Followed the steps and it's running great. Question. Is ther...

Steering Wheel?
I have had some trouble with my steering wheel (horn not working). I am looking for the plastic cowling that surrounds the steering column, as well as the complete steering wheel with horn and all wiring, etc... Thanks so much!

Re: Delica Full Exhaust 2 1/2 inch all stainless.
I'm making the pilgrimage to CVI this week and am stoked! It coincides with reading break and much needed time away from the Kootenays. Going in for the 2.5" SS side exit exhaust and the much anticipated and recommended Delica tune. Can't wait to get it all done and pick the brains of Butch and...

Well said Bikepoor! I'm a huge fan of learning, and having the help of our friendly BCAA if things ever go terribly wrong is such a nice warm feeling.

Re: Headlight low beam problem, high beams work fine
ok ok, so I'm not much of a techno guy but yes, I did manage to figure it out. Some switch behind the steering wheel, while trying to diagnose I just noticed that it was bit warm and on removal was a barely discernible mark likely from a spike of some sort. part was maybe 20$ and I'm back on the roa...

Re: Headlight low beam problem, high beams work fine
Green1, I couldn't have said better myself and thank you your honest size-up of the situation. Long distance relationships really do suck! Well, I've checked most of the wires at the headlight units as well as where it comes into the cab. The DRL unit has a wire to the + battery terminal with a fuse...

Re: Headlight low beam problem, high beams work fine
mine is in the engine compartment, disconnect and see if problem goes away, ok I'll try it. I'm following this thread as well which might help but thanks for the tips, I'm not all that electrically inclined so I'm hoping it's not a nightmare http://www.delica.ca/forum/another-headlight-mystery-6231....

Headlight low beam problem, high beams work fine
My low beams quit working a few weeks ago and am not sure why. I've been pretty busy with work/school/moving and am hoping that one of you lovely people could offer a few suggestion that might make trouble-shooting less painful. I had a rear tow hitch installed, watched the wiring happen and am pret...
