Re: L400 fuel tank

Thanks for the info Bird Big. FYI ... as it turned out, my issue was due to a loose tank drain plug. Just had to tighten it up I guess.

Re: L400 fuel tank

Just noticed a small patch of diesel under my 95 L400. I suspect I have a leaking fuel tank that needs replacement. Has anyone dealt with this recently? Thanks in advance.

Re: 1994 Space Gear 2.8 liter diesel radiator leak

Hey Lake

Just replaced the rad on my L400 using a unit Rising Sun shipped my way. Had ProActive here in Calgary drop it in. So far, so good.

Re: Calgary - Delica Tech Night - FRIDAY JAN 30th

Hey Big Bird

Unfortunately Bill (whose wife drives the other Varsity Delica) can't make it Friday but would be keen for another date.

Re: Pajero 2.8 4M40 or L400 Block heater

Hi there

Just wanted to follow up and see if folks have had good experiences with the Zero Start unit noted in the original post. (I'm thinking of upgrading the inline coolant heater on my L400 and am considering this Zero Start model.)

Thanks ...

Re: Weird noise and oil drip...o my!

Hi there My guess based on your description is that you have a busted crankshaft pulley which requires replacement. I had the same symptoms with my L400 earlier this year: a mysterious oil drip accompanied by a new, strong vibration most apparent when stopped at a traffic light or intersection. I ha...

L400 Overdrive - A few questions

Hey Heading to mountainous BC next week and had a few (potentially dumb) questions about proper use of overdrive on/off switch in my L400. Did same trek last year and experienced some rpm lag (and subsequent engine temperature heat spike) on a couple big climbs (e.g. East-bound Coq, Princeton-Hope) ...

Re: Roof basket at PA

Thanks Firesong. With a potential basket now identified, i just need to get some towers and cross bars. I have a 1995 L400 high roof. A couple of tower options I'm considering include: - Yakima 1A Raingutter Hi-Rise Towers - Thule 953 towers Any thoughts on these items or recommendations about other...

Re: Moving to AB

Hi there:

I brought a L400 to Calgary in August and used Pro-Star Auto for my inspection. Great service and no hassles. Would highly recommend them.
