L400 steering rack

Post by joedelica »

Hi All,

Looking for a steering rack as mine has a minor leak (will add Lucas to stop) as Butch from CVI thinks mine may be affecting the alignment and pulling to the right.
Would used be a good alternative or is it recommended to buy new?

Thanks,

Joe

My gearbox also leaks fairly bad. It must be a common occurrence as I was prepared to purchase one just before the one I owned and it too was a leaker. I will eventually get close enough to give it a wipe and visual whether it is a common lip seal or something alien.
