You may have already done this, but I have far more luck selling Delica parts on Craigslist than on the forum.

all over the place, but some of the stuff would be in better hands here if anyone was interested. not too many people need a vacuum pump on craigslist to make a super sucker for their WVO :-)

look here:
http://www.murphysmachines.com/supersuckerpump.html

http://www.murphysmachines.com/how_to/h ... t_wvo.html

you use a solid tank that will not deform or collapse, create a vacuum in it using the vacuum pump. close the valve, drop the hose into the tank or filter system you are sucking from, open valve, and the vacuum created from your tank will suck up till the tank is full.
lots of info on google, great way to do it, and you dont need a pump that will get clogged and need servicing.

would this be appropriate to suck oil into a 500L home heating oil tank? a 55 gallon steel drum?
sorry for getting off topic of the intent of the original post, but hey, it bumps your garage sale.

a lot of guys use 55 gallon drums. you will have to research for yourself as i cant say for sure, but if you can get your home heating tank to be fully sealed i am sure it would work although it would probably take a while to get a vacuum in that big of a tank, it may slightly deform the sides of the tank depending on where they put the weld seam but it should work.
