What does this button do?

Post by zyphit »

I've never seen a symbol like this on a North American vehicle, and I can't tell what's different when I push it. I guess it looks like the window is open, something to increase airflow maybe?

Sorry for the potato quality picture.

From what I understand it blows cool air on your face, even when the heater is on. The purpose would be to prevent sleepiness when driving at night with the heater on. The cool air would keep you more alert.

exactly right: Heat on your feet, cold air on your face. Handy on cold sunny days when the top of the car is hot and your feet are still cold.
