If you look at the first pictures on p1 it should give you a better idea. Worst case scenario is you could trim the skid plate to clear your lights, don't think it'd be a big deal.

Looks like there should be no conflict. Except maybe at mounting time, but the lights come off real easy.delicat wrote:If you look at the first pictures on p1 it should give you a better idea. Re: Skid plate, pictures...
Happy day! It's good it has been such a wait for these skid plates, anticipation being such a big part of the fun of life. I'll enjoy bolting it on Hazel all the more. And even better, happy news for you Fishslapper, who has had a way longer and stressful, I'm sure, wait! Awesome you will finally get behind the wheel of your own delica. Can't wait to see your intro pics when it arrives - you should keep the 1st of those skid plates and bolt it on that new bus right away! Thanks again for getting these plates sorted out. Not sure how I will end up getting mine... I'm happy to pay the shipping for mail or the bus, but if there is an Island meet involved in the distribution of Island bound plates all the better - and what a great reason to organise a meet

Happy Day!

Re: Skid plate, pictures...
I know there's been a lot of talk from those on the Island about how they're going to get their plates. We have family there and may be over the weekend of the 13th to 15th of July. If the plates are in and we're coming over then we'll bring them along with us. Thanks for everyone's support and hopefully we'll have some good news on a vehicle later this week!

Re: Skid plate, pictures...
rdub,
Fishslapper ended up buying the material so the money will go his way. We're just waiting to have them all before making $ arrangement. And we'll just go down the list starting at page 1 to see the order of who gets his/hers from the first batch of 30.
Cheers,
David

Re: Skid plate, pictures...
If I whine, beg, smile, ask nice and say pretty please, can I be in that first 30. Since I'll be in Vanc late next week, I would be able to avoid the shipping issue. Not to mention have it on the vehicle for my "expedition"!delicat wrote:rAnd we'll just go down the list starting at page 1 to see the order of who gets his/hers from the first batch of 30.
Have I mentioned recently how much I appreciate what you guys have done?

Erebus,
You might already be within the first 30 or so, have you checked out? And some people might have said they were interested but when time comes they may no longer be interested for a reason or anoter. If not, just be prepare to bribe #29 or #30...

Does that "first 30"include PM's? I sent one of those to Fishslapper right away but never did post on the forum.
