Vehicle manufacturers for years have been releasing model years WAY before the actual year, just look at when the 2009 vehicles start appearing on dealer lots (any minute now) and you have to realize that they just might be manufactured before 2009 (in fact I start to wonder if they start making them in 2007...)

The law states that the vehicle must be 15 years old to the month of MANUFACTURE, model year is completely irrelevant.

That said, anyone with a 1994 model year Delica (production started in June 1993) must have JUST got it!

Ridiculously early, in some cases - I just saw a commercial advertising the 2010 Ford (or was it Lincoln?) something-or-another! I mean, come on! It's barely 2009 and they're already advertising next year's crap.
