Re: L400 Front & Rear Sway Bar bushing kits
After dealing with several of these vans now through our repair shop it is becoming more apparent that almost every L400 requires new sway bar links and mounts.

Knocking noise in the front and vibrations.
Jack up the front end and have someone turn the wheel full tilt from one side to another. At the end of the full turn you may see the sway bar and/or control arm move due to worn bushings.

The most obvious symptom is the knock rattle when driving over small bumps/uneven road. You can feel the problem by holding the sway bar and pulling up and down near the end link and near the mounting bushes. As you pull up and down you will feel and see movement in both the link and mount bush.
