Incorrect Temperature Reading on "Delica Thermometer"

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Interesting. I'm not sure if those are the lowest temperatures they register or not. I'm pretty sure I've seen -30 through +45 on the outside and inside. The former should just read "good luck starting the engine, fool who's running 15w40 oil & no blockheater in -30!" and the latter should automatically turn on the AC :-D

I've noticed the internal sensor but always wondered about the location of the outside sensor.. where on the front bumper is it? inside the plastic mitsu thing? It is definitely sensitive to engine heat when stopped, only really accurate when moving.

if you look at the plastic panel behind the bull-bar (the one with the mitsubishi logo on it) there are vents cut at both ends of it, the passenger side ones are the cabin air intake, they come in behind the glovebox and in to a box with a damper in it that selects outside or recirculating air (when recirculating your air the air comes from the passenger foot-well, so tell them to put their boots back on!) , then heads toward the centre of the vehicle, likely to the heater fan and heater core before being routed out through the vents.

Incorrect Temperature Reading on "Delica Thermometer"

Does anyone have photos of the wiring for the internal thermistor? When I received my Delica, the metal plate (mentioned in previous posts) was missing, and there are a bunch of loose wires around the steering column. Just wondering which one I need to be messing with in order to properly hook up the thermistor.

Thanks!
