First bonehead Delica accident - Body panel needed

As the title states I pulled my first moron driving move today and backed into a Ford F150 today. I was lucky as far as the delica is concerned because I just got a scrape in my bumper and crunched the body panel underneath the passenger side tail light. Ford was not so lucky. So now i am going to have to spend some chingo to repair the damage I have done. The Ford is out of my league but the Delica is thankfully relatively unscathed. How hard is it to remove that panel under the tail light and does anybody have one I could buy to replace this? Color does not matter too much because I have a few things I want to get painted so I could always add that to the list. What a crappy feeling hearing the crunch. I am having a bad week.

On the L300's it's listed below the drivers seat because there are soooo many different colours and the names don't always give a clue as to what they actually look like. It's probably the same with the L400's even when it comes to white...
Don't quote me on that though, Jesse will probably comment and correct me soon

Also look into Delica FAQ, there should be a list for paint codes there, but somewhere in your van will be a plate with a few codes on them, as Nxski says: On an L300 it is between your legs, below the driver's seat. See if there is a flap in the carpet or something. Better still, take a look through L400 Delica Downloads and read a few of the manuals, ought to be something there.

above the fuse box inside the engine compartment you'll have the codes on the plate

the corner box panel on the L400 you hit is easy to remove/install and is a single piece.

Thanks. I had all the numbers off the plate written here on a piece of paper and through the FAQ's I found that the code was Sophia White (not a very masculine name for the MAN-Van but oh well ). I was thinking that it wouldn't be too bad to take it off. When I install the Flex-Capacitor I will just go back in time and not have to worry about it. Now, to find the body panel and/or round up some plutonium.

Sophia is from the Greek. It means wisdom. Considering it is being used to describe white, which is emblematic of purity ~ I see "Innocent Wisdom". I would consider that as masculine.

Have you considered "Paintless Dent Removal"? (Oh ~ my ~ God.... :O) ~ there must be something up your neck of the toolies.

That is actually quite amazing! I think this panel is too far gone and easier to just replace.

That whole panel was collapsed in. There are no pictures of my sliding door panel when it was initially damaged. Worth looking into Paintless Dent Removal. By the way, if you have the paint code for your Sophia White, then White & Peter's (auto paint supplier) should have the formula. Not sure if they operate in Alberta or not but they are a pretty big outfit so there might be one near you.

you cannot replace the corner panel.
it has a build in ribbit side corner pcs.
all you need is a heated puller that do spotweld and pull it.
the body shop has this as i work in the body shop before easy to fix just need tools and small bondo
and your done:
as per the paint code any pre 1996 to 1998 mitsubishi will do it just need to match it

Looks fine it is a truck and should have dents in it.

As long as there is paint on it why bother fixing it....very small and miner.

I really don't know what to do about this one. I saw the rivetted corner but I was thinking it could be cut out and just spot welded or tacked in. It is smushed in pretty good and touching the rear door and rear quarter panel because it is flattened out. I really think it would cost a lot of money to have it pulled and bondo-ed. I will have to look at it a bit more and get a shop to give me a quote. I have had a lot of people say that it is easy to take out so I was thinking that I would just swap it out. I was hoping this is true.
