Delica lift kits revisted
I have a Zeal 3up Pro Staff lift http://www.4x4prostaff.com on my low roof. I know I can fit 31's but would like to attempt 33's. My question is. Does anyone know if you can run 33 10.5 15 on a -20 offset 8J wheel with a 3-4 inch lift? Is it worth the effort to get larger than 31? Looks like it should go. WIll my side door open?
thanks in advance.

Cheers.
Is this your rig - (if so -nice!)

If so, your right, 215's would look small on it. Mystery Machine (Bruce) would be the one to advise you, though 32"s look good.

i would guess anything bigger than a 31 will have you modifying your sliding door at least. but i would probably say that bruce's 8 inch lift has 33s, but thats not to say thats the biggest he can fit, although i will most likely always have the b iggest i can fit haha.
I guess all you can do is try it... and make a $2000 mistake unless you have friends who want to lend you some tires for a day.

Re: Delica lift kits revisted
After some looking tonight it seems the average 8 inch lift has a 35 inch tire. This would make a 33 sorta hard to imagine fitting on my lift. I think I will look at what I can get in 31's in radial. Or maybe look into a 16inch toyota wheel setup..... hmmmm

Bruce said that even his 33's rub sometimes... if you really want bigger tires just chop and mod those wheel wells big time. That would be my suggestion, you could probably widen the wheel wells, and then there would be little snagging. The problem with the bigger tires is less about hieght and more about the sides rubbing the tire. Just my two cents.Adrock wrote: i would probably say that bruce's 8 inch lift has 33s, but thats not to say thats the biggest he can fit

Good advice. I am thinking of getting the 32's. Found them in super swamper radial by trxus.

Re: Delica lift kits revisted
just to add a bit here, I used to make compition buggys , and very Very few tires are actually the size they are advertised at. Interco tires are famous for that, I started on my truck with 37" boggers, they stood 35.5" high, I went 38.5 boggers they were 38"tall.
this is without the truck weight pulling it down.
I recomend actually measuring the tire befor you buy it to put on your delica, right now I am running BFG mud's 30/950/15 and they rub a bit on the backs of my flares, so i need to trim the flares, and I have a lift in my van.
just measure the tire befor you pay, as they dont take tires back .
