Thanks! I was thinking about that wire but I reeeeeally don't want to screw anything into the interior panels if I can help it. It just feels wrong somehow... I'm sure I'll get over it. What the VW crowd has done is use a vinyl covered spring wire or tension wire method and secure it at opposite ends of a side window. The wire acts as the curtain rod so the fabric just loops over it with an open sleeve. There are probably some ideas in the 1970's Boler and Tent Trailer curtains. I know IKEA had a tension wire curtain kit but thats for homes.
