Are these for curtains?

Hey everyone, my van didn't come with curtains, but I have a feeling they were pilfered before I bought it. can someone tell me what these thingamajigs are for? I'd like to reuse whatever stock bits are already installed. I'm obviously missing the rails, how are the stockers attached? What are people using for the rails for curtains if their van didn't come with them? Thanks!

Yep, those plugs cover the holes for a clip that holds an aluminum upper and lower curtain rail. The semi clear snap clip is to secure the curtains to a pillar at either end of the curtains. Curtain assemblies from a wrecked/parted out deli are not very common and the factory rails follow the contour of the inner panel.

What the VW crowd has done is use a vinyl covered spring wire or tension wire method and secure it at opposite ends of a side window. The wire acts as the curtain rod so the fabric just loops over it with an open sleeve. There are probably some ideas in the 1970's Boler and Tent Trailer curtains. I know IKEA had a tension wire curtain kit but thats for homes.

I found a set at a local wreckers. They are out there, but the quality is meh. You can just about see through them. Cheaper to make your own set and with a nicer pattern and cloth.

Thanks! I was thinking about that wire but I reeeeeally don't want to screw anything into the interior panels if I can help it. It just feels wrong somehow... I'm sure I'll get over it. I'll pop those plugs off, maybe there's something underneath I can attach too.
