Hi
Need some information regarding the following. I have a 1990 L300 manual tranny Delica.
As we know the std tranny's are geared lower. But is the actual lower gearing
a result of the transmission or the rearends?
I have access to the rear ends / axles off a '94 Delica (not free though) and was thinking that this might be a cool upgrade. What are your thoughts on this?
Ladder question:
Will a high roof rear ladder fit a low roof Delica? The ladder is 57" in height. It's not in my possession (nor in my city) or I could check it out myself.
Thanks for the info guys (& gals)

Re: L300 mechanical questions (transmission and ladder specs)
Stick shift Delicas have different ratios in their differentials. The transmission has nothing to do with it.

I actually got some dimensions of the ladder involved and answered one question - doesn't fit.
Anyone have some knowledge on the gearing / tranny etc question?

Thanks Laura
So technically I can change over the differentials to the newer ones from
the automatic and have them work. Foresee any issues I might come
across?
