I holed my front tank recently and had to fix it. First I thought I could by-pass the front tank and just run from the rear. However, the front tank pulls fuel throughthe system from the back and feeds the injector pump off the top. In the end I had to drain the tanks remove the front and repair the...

Hi Josh, For what it is it is incredibly rigid. The plastic steps just broke off the bolts and popped out and when they did they pushed the steps back a little. It now takes a lot to get them to touch unless you are a bit reckless :D As replacement plastic was not an option I chose to stick some mes...

L300 FRONT STEP PLASTIC REPLACEMENT

Hi All, Just spent an hour or so replacing the plastic treads in the front steps which were knocked out while off roading. I managed to scrounge some mesh from work and cut it to size with a pair of tin snips, results quite good I thought for nothing! Off-Side http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293...

I understand, but I haven't had any problems at all, apart from being slowed by head winds. L300's and long hill climbs don't go together as you are probably aware, I just wish someone had told Newton he would never have invented gravity if he'd owned one! The other issue with the L300 is the lack o...

Hi Crushers, I have had my plate installed for about 3 years now and have done many off-road events where I have put the engine under considerable strain for long periods of time. Also when you are off road you are usually travelling a lot slower than on the road too. All this considered I have neve...

L300 SUMP PLATE/SKID PLATE

These drawings are by no means technical but if you find a decent metal basher I'm sure he will be able to turn one of these out for you in under and hour, maybe a little longer with laser cutting. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/chamonixstu/WORKSHOP%20MANUALS/L300/Sump%20Guard/Slide1.jpg htt...

Hi Form the UK

Hi Guys, Nice to see a Delica forum based in my favourite (but as yet unvisited) country. My interest in Canada started way back in 1977 when I discovered the band RUSH and I am still a huge fan now. I have owned my L300 Chamonix for about 3 1/2 years and wouldn't drive anything else. Nice to see th...
