'94 L400 U Joints?

Hi there. My U Joints @ the rear diff and off the tranny are squeaky and in need of replacement. I had them greased but they're toast. I called and emailed Mardy 4 days ago and he said he'd get back to me but he hasn't, so I'm just wondering if anyone here knows a place I can get them, part # to ord...

Re: Shimmy, lurch, squeak on L400

I took it in yesterday afternoon. There is a wee wearing on the inner front tire - possibly a bearing issue with possible lump in the tire. Ah, but in 2 quick test drives did the e-brake test of the rear brakes. They wanted to have a look at the brakes today (I'm checking her in now) as well but not...

Shimmy, lurch, squeak on L400

Hi there My '94 L400 has had a good history (2+ yrs). It has had small issues of not shifting - holding at higher rpms then doing its thing, but good for the most part. At cold start up it holds at about 60kmh for a bit before shifting. At present the tranny fluid - good level and maybe a little off...

Re: Is a Delica right for me?

And regarding camping, wife & I just got back from our annual 3 month ff trip to New Zealand. We converted that one to a camper and we slept 75 of 90 nights in the the L400. I'm 6'2" -210 and she's 5'9 - 135, and we had lots of room - essentially a queen bed in there. Heat wise, bundle up! ...

Re: Diesel Price

Funny, diesel in New Zealand is only $1.69/L, NZ$. But, then you have to add the road use charges for diesel and it takes it to about $1.90/L NZ or about $1.50 Ca. Petrol is about $2.10/L NZ.
Still about $1.10 / L in Red Deer.

Yokahama Geolander AT-S question

Have L400 with stock 15" rims. I've read on the forum that some are running Geos at 265-70-r15. Just want to make sure that these will fit no worries of rubbing, etc. I know about the low pressure <potential> issue but never run low pressure. Other than that am I good to go? Have a set lined up...

Re: my AC seems to be dead, troubleshooting options?

Just a question about the fuses for the compressor. I'm not familiar with the square black fuses found where the compressor, front condensor fan, rear condensor fan, headlamp are. They are 4 black boxes. How do you know if that style of fuse is shot? I pop one out and it simply is copper wire wrappe...

Re: January Meet and/or excursion anyone?

We're back last night from NZ so we'll likely make the next one.
And we now own a Deli L400 Jasper in NZ as well. Was tough to kiss her goodnight for 9 months, but that's how our marriage works. ;)

Re: High km Delica's

Just got home from New Zealand, where we played on our annual 3 month trip. While there, we blew up a Subaru. So, we bought a Delica L400 there. We now own one here in Red Deer and in NZ. If worried about the mileage, look at NZ or Aus sites! Amazing how many miles the NZ units rack up on such a sma...

Re: Red Deer Alberta OOP inspection?

I had my Deli done in Red Deer at OK Tire on 67 St, across from the Starbucks about 2 months ago. It wasn't cheap $220, but they were good with it. Came on recommendation from a fellow that did my stereo - he's imported many RHD vehicles. Having said that, I have gone to Dick's Auto, just on the eas...
