I'm new to Vancouver and would love to meet the Delica Community there. I went to a few events in Calgary.
See you all there

Re: Summer Edmonton Meet-Up?
I'm in Athabasca but I'd love to get together in Edmonton. In the past I've driven to Calgary for a meet but its a long way to go for a meet. Meeting somewhere along Whyte Ave close to a coffee shop would be good. Hawrelax Park is another good spot.

Re: driveline growl, what might it be?
I have a rear growling noise from the rear end of my van when I left off the throttle. As I lift the throttle at highway speed the rear diff I get a howl noise. This noise is more prominent at highway speeds or when I have a full load in the van. If I play with the throttle I can make this noise on ...

Re: Need a Power Steering Belt ASAP - NAPA
Thanks, I'll give them a ring. I'm heading out to Victoria. But without a power steering belt it'll be a tad more laborious then I hoped.

Need a Power Steering Belt ASAP - NAPA
I've searched the thread and checked all the part numbers available at NAPAs website but no luck. Does anyone know the NAPA part numbers for Delica turbo diesel? I need a power steering pump and AC belt. Perhaps the Alternator belt as well while I'm in there. I'm not stranded but I'd love to have th...

Re: Driveshaft "werrrrrr" when throttle lifted
Thanks, I feel the same way. I have a lot of experience working on a variety of vehicles but I have never had to work on a differential before. Does anyone know of a shop in the Edmonton area that would do a good job? Is their a way to test if its the diff? I'd like to make sure before I take it in ...

Re: Driveshaft "werrrrrr" when throttle lifted
Wow, I love the support on this site. Thanks for the advice. I am probably due for a fluids check/change. I've only has the van for a year and the previous service records weren't great. Does it help if the sound is most noticeable with a large load in the van. If I have 7 people in there the werrr ...

Driveshaft "werrrrrr" when throttle lifted
At speed (40+) when I left off the accelerator and coast to a stop their is a brief moment at half throttle when something in the rear of the van goes.... "Werrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr". If still coasting and I step on the throttle it'll do it again. My guess is the drive shaft. Has anyone had a thi...

Re: Circulating heater install
If you mount a coolant heater on the front heater core lines what is the path of the warm coolant? Would the warm coolant recirculate through the entire block? Looking over the Delica manual coolant section I came up with the following. (I hope this is right, if not let me know before I do something...

Re: Diesel Leak
Any type of veggie oil that works best? Is this ok to try in the winter? Does anyone know of a good diesel mechanic in Edmonton or Calgary that would do a good job rebuilding the IP? Is this the type of thing you take to CVI in BC and make a mini vacation out of it?

Re: Door seals
Which seals are for the lower rubber outside passenger/drivers windows? The upper window channels of passenger/drivers windows? And the lower inside fabric lined passenger/driver window seal?
