Possibly listing my L400 lwb for sale, thoughts on price?
Hey guys, We are considering moving back to a westfalia for the summer, We absolutely love the Deli, but are wondering if the westy style might suit us better with the little one (pop top specifically), we have had the L400 for 2 years now, bit of a record for me keeping a car... I am wondering if w...

Re: Oil Catch Can PCV valve routing question
A catch can on a catch can... well if one works 2 must be better ;) I was wondering how that would work, the inlet/outlet are always side by side. what about taking a foot or two of tubing and running it uphill from the catch can to the breather filter? oil would spurt into the breather tube and may...

Oil Catch Can PCV valve routing question
Hey Fellas Here is my question. I have a K&N apollo filter installed, easy swap over for a cleanable filter and lots of space gained. I noticed that the way the line enters the K&N any oil coming from the crankcase will drip onto the filter instead of down towards the turbo, sure enough, lot...

Re: Which spring, if a spring at all
Hey Guys,
Just wanted to post the part number I used for the Airlifts before I lost it
61792
fits perfectly and definitely fills up the whole inside of the spring, had them on for 5 or 6 m now through the winter and all, no problems, working like a charm

Re: Canada-USA-Mexico-Belize-Gta trip
I did a motorcycle trip from calgary through mexico 2 years ago, We just bought insurance by the border crossing to mexico,,, it was a small crossing and the last gas station before the border sold it (for a premium to us procrastinators!) One thing to watch, after you cross the border and stop at t...

Re: Power Steering Kaboom, now making things worse?
Thanks Jesse,
Man, I hope its a line, that would be nice and simple (assuming its accessable!)
My guess is if it were the PS pump it would be a slower gradual leak?
cheers

Re: Which spring, if a spring at all
Well, finally got the van all sorted out gone are the 15" rims and 30.5x9 tires, now on 265 70r17 now. much nicer! A mild crank on th torsion bars and the airlift bags inside the rear coils and she is riding nice! A couple observations -The tighter torsion bars give a way nicer ride, along with...

Re: Which spring, if a spring at all
Here is the lovell specs RFR-26 (raised 40mm) FH = 380mm, wire = 17mm, rate = 240Lb/in RFR-7 (standard height HD) FH = 362mm, wire = 17mm, rate = 240lb/in I have seen reference of the wire going up to 21mm, but many folks seem happy with the 17mm of the lovells. both lovells have 17mm wire, but I th...

Re: Which spring, if a spring at all
Ok Some specs for the Ironman +40mm part number MITS025B Wire diameter 17 (skinny!) Free Height 390mm I have found a couple other brands (bearmach in specific) with a thicker wire and higher spring rate. Still waiting on the Lovells specs. I measured mine with nothing in the back of the van and had ...
