C/D lock flashing light, all the time
Hello there, I have yet to get to the bottom of this mystery, I hope someone out there can help. I let my 94 L400 sit for a couple months (nothing wrong when I left it) and when I returned and started it up my Super Select 4wD lights were flashing differently. Normally on start up all flour wheel fl...

Re: Turn signal is stuck on
Thank you for the translations. So I pulled the turn signal assembly apart and found the little plastic piece that switches the signals on and off to be broken. As you suggested this part was just week plastic. But I was able to fix it, heres how. With a very small drill bit I drilled out the spot w...

Turn signal is stuck on
So when I first put my '94 L 400 on the road in Canada I had to have some of my lights hooked up as day time running lights. Ever since then my wiring has been a little glitchy, like my dash lights come on when I use my signals. Nothing to crazy but still glitchy. The other day my van got way to gli...

Re: possible timing isue, need help
Thanks for the help guys. I have pulled it all apart again(much easier the second time) and I am now very confident that I got the chain lined up prorely. So I think it's time to get someone else to time it for me, sounds like a really tech job.

Re: possible timing isue, need help
I have read the other thread, it was helpful in determining my problem in the first place.
The new chain was a diferent length. So do you think that I am now deeling with a injector/fuel pump timing problem? If so do you know of any helpful litrature?

I just spent a lot of time changing out the timing chain on my '94 L400, and now that it's all put back together it will not start. The engine turns over and there is exaust but it dosen't fire up. The orginal timing chain was a whole chain link longer and was maxing out the tentioner(a mistake on t...

Re: troubleshooting strange noise, help!
OK starting to figure this site out a bit.
I found the thread from '09 and I am positive that my '94 L400 needs a new timing chain, I just wish that mitsubishi had replaced the recalled chain before I got the van.

Re: troubleshooting strange noise, help!
Sweet thanks a lot guys. I think you nailed it. :-D That video really helped. It sounds just like that. Im going to replace my timing chain and see if that solves it. I've been told they need replacing at 100,000KM anyway (I don't know for sure), and it just ticked over. I found a timing chain kit f...

troubleshooting strange noise, help!
I am a new owner of a '94 L400 and loving it. But I am concerned about a noise coming from under the hood that is only present when the engine is working hard, like revving at 3 1/2-4 grand. It sounds kind of like a small choo choo train under the hood. It's subtle but very noticeable. Sounds almost...
